Merit Capital Partners Completes Two Fund VII Investments: American Producers Supply and PFI InStore

Merit Capital Partners recently partnered with Joe Wesel, President and CEO, to support the recapitalization of American Producers Supply Co., LLC (“APS” or the “Company”).

Headquartered in Marietta, Ohio, APS distributes a diverse range of industrial and construction related products including tools, material handling equipment, safety equipment, abrasives, and fasteners. The Company operates out of 13 locations spanning Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Indiana. APS sells its products to a variety of  customers including OEMs, contractors, industrial service providers, and equipment rental companies.

Merit Capital Partners recently partnered with Onward Capital and management to acquire PFI InStore (“PFI” or the “Company”).

PFI, founded in 1956 and headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, provides retail displays ranging from temporary point-of-purchase (“POP”) displays to permanent store fixtures. From concept and design to manufacturing, the Company focuses on supporting CPG brands, national retailers, and creative design agencies by showcasing and promoting products in all areas of the store. PFI serves customers across a variety of end markets, including beverage, security, personal care, convenience, and grocery. The Company has become one of the few providers of displays and fixtures made with nearly all types of materials (wood, wire, plastic, acrylic, and corrugated).
