Merit Capital Partners Exits Elgen Manufacturing Company, Inc.
Merit invested in Elgen Manufacturing Company, Inc. (“Elgen” or the “Company”) in June 2019, in partnership with MFG Partners and the company’s existing management team. Elgen, headquartered in Closter, New Jersey, engineers, manufactures, and markets ductwork accessory products that are used by HVAC contractors in commercial buildings. The Company is a “one-stop shop” for nearly all accessory products, selling under the Elgen and Capital Hardware Supply brand names. The Company provides a mix of stock parts and custom components to match its customers’ unique product needs.
Merit invested both subordinated debt and equity to support the majority recapitalization of Elgen. Merit, MFG, and Elgen were advised on the transaction by Harris Williams and Goodwin Proctor. Please contact Evan Gallinson or Bill Floyd for additional information.
Merit Capital Partners Exits Omni Glass & Paint, L.L.C.
Merit invested in Omni Glass & Paint, L.L.C. (“Omni” or the “Company”) in May 2019, in partnership with the Company’s existing shareholders and key executives. Headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Omni is a leading provider of a broad range of glass and paint products and services. Founded in 1967, Omni provides custom glass, panels, contract glazing and specialty coating solutions to general contractors and manufacturers, primarily in Wisconsin. The Company operates through five divisions including Glass, Paint, OEM, Residential and Tempering. Omni is headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and has six facilities throughout the state.
